If you have corner in your home I highly recommend you frame in wallpaper to create the perfect cozy corner. Our kitchen was designed for a small breakfast nook, but making it a statement took some design. You might be surprised how quick and simple this project was to pull off.
I stumbled upon Anthropologie's Etched Arcadia Mural wallpaper and instantly new I had to frame it in with all trim to create the space. The wallpaper was an affordable large-scale piece of art. It was water activated and its easy to remove if you ever change your mind (which I do all the time) and I honestly found it easier to install over peel and stick.
After mapping out how wide and tall we wanted the wallpaper we cut it to size and started installing. The wallpaper is water activated and was very easy to install, I actually prefer to peel and stick. It moves with the wall before it sets and there are virtually no air bubbles!
After the wallpaper was install we simply added precut and pre-painted wall trim to frame in the wallpaper. I do recommend having someone to help you hang the long panels of wallpaper to make it really easy, but it is simple enough for anyone to achieve on their own. I am super fortunate that my husband is a general contractor and is usually down to help out with any project.
